Why do You choose to love me?
Why do You choose to love me?

I need so much help
And that help
You wanna be
Oh how You choose to love us
Why do You choose to love me?
There’s much to improve
Yet I’m used
For Your esteem
Oh how You choose to love us
Why do You choose to love me?
Look where I’ve been
Oh but see
How much He’s done
Oh how You choose to love us

Unwavering love
Unwavering love
I trust in Your Word
For He’s my salvation
And the foundation (of Your)
Unwavering love
Unwavering love
Unwavering love
…Oh how You choose to love us
Scripture:
New Covenant Foretold
30 “Behold, days are coming”
Jeremiah 31:30-33
—it is a declaration of Adonai—
“when I will make a new covenant[d]
with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah—
31 not like the covenant
I made with their fathers
in the day I took them by the hand
to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they broke My covenant,
though I was a husband to them.”
it is a declaration of Adonai.
32 “But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”
—it is a declaration of Adonai—
“I will put My Torah within them.
Yes, I will write it on their heart.[e]
I will be their God
and they will be My people.
33 No longer will each teach his neighbor
or each his brother, saying: ‘Know Adonai,’
for they will all know Me,
from the least of them to the greatest.”
it is a declaration of Adonai.
“For I will forgive their iniquity,
their sin I will remember no more.”[f]
[c] 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those being made holy. 15 The Ruach ha-Kodesh [Holy Spirit] also testifies to us—for after saying,
16 “This is the covenant that I will cut with them:
‘After those days,’ says YHWH,
‘I will put My Torah upon their hearts,
and upon their minds I will write it,’”[d]then He says,
17 “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”[e]
18 Now where there is removal of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
Hebrews 10:14-18, The Covenant
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.[a]
Ezekiel 36:25-27, The Covenant
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
Deuteronomy 7:9
But the steadfast love of the Lord is
Psalm 103:17-18
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
“For the mountains may depart
Isaiah 54:10
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Therefore he [Messiah] is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
Hebrews 9:15
21 I will praise You,
For You have answered me,
And have become my salvation.22 The stone [Messiah] which the builders rejected
Psalm 118:21-23 (ref. to Matthew 21:42)
Has become the chief cornerstone.
23 [c]This was the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
16 Therefore thus says the Lord [n]God,
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone,
Isaiah 28:16
A costly cornerstone for the foundation, [o]firmly placed.
He who believes in it will not be [p]disturbed [will not flee in haste].
