Passover Celebration
I was blessed to hold another Passover gathering at my home! I believe I was led to invite many more people this year, though most could not make it sadly. My (usual) fearful heart towards this was lifted and I wasn’t so afraid- but excited!- to look for opportunities to talk with and invite others!
I asked Yah specifically for His Spirit to be in the lead and to fill my mind and home (and that it is comfortable to stay there), especially for this gathering. As I give it my all for my guests and hopes to please Abba Yah with my efforts, prayers, and reading His Word aloud with my friends and family around the table, I wanted to be led and not so worrisome about how it all will go.
To my surprise and awe of Him, I witnessed two doves on my back patio close to the backdoor that very morning. That day was filled with peace and things all pieced together perfectly. My friend and I both said how much this gathering was a blessing; I believe the Spirit led our conversations as well.
A few days later, I thought that was crazy to think that Yah had those doves there for me to see, but I felt in my Spirit to check His Word about what doves were compared to. I forgot about Matthew 3:16, where the “the Spirit of God ascended like a dove” on Yahshua/Jesus right after He came up from the water during His water immersion.
How beautiful. It was Him!
Things Highlighted/Learned

- He DIED so we can LIVE: to walk in the newness of life and to be His light to others.
- We are a LIVING sacrifice. We burn for Him!
- Shofar blowing reasons/details: Numbers 10
- call for camps to set out; short blasts, alarm sound
- call for assembly; not like the set out blasts/short alarms
- use of them is a permanent statute (for the priests, which believers today will be- see 1 Peter 2:9 & Rev. 5:10)
- out to battle; short blasts; so YHWH remembers you and delivers you from your enemies
- sound during joyous occasions, appointed festivals, and each new month
- sound over burnt offerings and fellowship sacrifices
- (today our prayers are like incense and our praises are like sacrifices- see Rev. 5:8; Hebrews 13:15; Psalm 49 & 50)
- New Land
- Land of Canaan: Exodus 3:8, Gen. 12:1; 13:14-15
- Future Land?: Isaiah 1:19 & Isaiah 65:17, Rev. 21:1, 2 Peter 3:13
- Future Highway to Zion: Isaiah 35:8-10
